• Business Litigation, Commercial Litigation,  Civil Litigation, and Commercial Collection Litigation - Mr. Cohen's philosophy is simple. He commences suit immediately , seeking where appropriate, ex parte attachments of the debtor's bank accounts, real estate, or income stream. When successful, your debtor will first learn of Attorney Cohen's name when the debtor's bank tells them that we have attached their account.
  Unlike others who write ineffective letters and make time wasting telephone calls, Mr Cohen uses a more direct approach for in state collections. Mr. Cohen strongly believes that if you are unable to collect your money with letters and telephone calls, further announcing to the debtor that you intend to take further legal action will encourage the debtor to hide its assets.

• Business and Commercial Law - Attorney Cohen often advises his clients not only about how to collect debt but also how to attempt to avoid pitfalls in everyday business and commercial affairs. Included in this service is a review of the credit application, notice of contract contracts, AIA contratcts, and other commercial contracts. Attorney Cohen also prepares and reviews promissory notes, mortgages and Uniform Comercial Code Security Agreements. Attorney Cohen also prepares Home Improvement Contracts for Contractor performing home improvements for residential customers.

• Mechanic's Liens - "M.G.L.c. 254 provides for mechanic's liens. This highly technical statute allows you to lien a person or entity's property where you have provided certain services and/or materials, even if you never contracted with the owner. Because the wording of the lien documents and timing of filing is of critical importance, using an experienced attorney such as Attorney Cohen instead of relying on store bought forms may make the difference between successfully creating and perfecting a lien or having just another write-off. The Mechanic's lien statute involves a Notice of Contract, a Statement of Account, the timely filing of a Complaint to enforce the lien and finally the recording of an attested to copy of the complaint at the appropriate registry of deeds.
